What is a Teen Patti game?

The name refers to three cards. You may also see 3 Patti, 3patti, Indian poker or “teen patti wala game” in searches. These phrases describe a game family; they do not identify a single Android developer. An app called Teen Patti can therefore have different rules, account systems and payment features from another app with a similar name.

In the traditional game, a dealer gives each player three cards. A hand may end when other players fold, or when the remaining hands are compared under the table’s show rules. For learning, replace all stakes with imaginary counters that have no purchase or redemption value.

Start with the six hand categories

Compare the category before individual cards. Three twos beat an ace-high pure sequence under the standard hierarchy. A pair of twos still loses to any qualifying colour. The full ranking guide explains ties and kickers.
